How To Find Drivers for Unknown Devices without Software

Posted by Agung Pambudi in ,
More recently, one of my friends had experienced problems. Some of these problems are caused because the driver at the relevant hardware device is not installed or fails installed on the computer system, consequently the device can not run properly.

Related to driver problems this time, I found a way to get a suitable driver for the computer / laptop that we use, sound drivers, video controllers, network adapters, as well as other drivers.

Device Manager. (source: forum.winpoin.com)

Device Manager
Right-click on the device that you want to update or no drivers
Select Properties
Click Details tab

The property column select 'Hardware Ids'

# copy the vendor id and device id to google
PCI \ VEN_14E4 & DEV_43B1

# VENDOR ID of Broadcom
VEN_14E4

# DEVICE ID of BCM4352HMB 2x2 802.11ac Wi-Fi Adapter
DEV_43B1
